Faculties

The Faculty of Automation is proud of its alumni, with whom it maintains continuous contact. They help improve the training of future engineers and the development of the laboratory infrastructure.

The Faculty of Electrical Engineering provides students with the opportunity to obtain an educational and qualification level (EQL) of "bachelor" and "master" in the following specialties: "Electrical Engineering", "Electrical Power Engineering and Electrical Equipment", "Electricity from Renewable Energy Sources".

A total of 795 students are enrolled in the Faculty of Energy and Power Engineering across all educational and qualification levels. The specialties of the Faculty of Energy and Power Engineering are broadly divided into two directions - "Energy" and "Mechanical Engineering".

The training at the Faculty of Industrial Technologies is carried out in the professional fields of "Mechanical Engineering" and "General Engineering", in which the Technical University – Sofia traditionally holds leading positions.

The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering was founded in 1951 and is one of the successors of the Mechanical Faculty of the former State Polytechnic. Bachelors can choose their studies in one of the four specialties: Mechanical Engineering, 
Mechatronics, Engineering Design, Engineering Logistics.

The training at the Faculty of "Electronic Engineering and Technologies" (FEET) is in the specialties "Electronic Information Systems" and "Automotive Electronics" and is recognized in the European Union.

The Faculty of Telecommunications provides extensive training in the field of telecommunications. Students acquire skills for the design, production, and technological support of communication systems and networks.

The training for the educational and qualification degree of "Bachelor" at the Faculty of Computer Systems and Technologies is conducted in the specialties "Computer and Software Engineering", "Information Technologies in Industry", and "Computer Science and Engineering". 

The Faculty of Transport trains students in the specialties "Aviation Technology and Engineering", "Transport Technology and Engineering" and "Transport Technology and Management". Training in the specialties "Aeronautical Engineering" and "Automotive Engineering" is also conducted in English.

Faculty Applied Mathematics and Informatics (FPMI) at the Technical University – Sofia is a leading center for education and scientific research in the field of mathematics, informatics, and physics. It trains specialists with higher education, combining mathematical precision and knowledge of modern information technologies. The faculty conducts active scientific activities and international cooperation with universities and institutes in Europe and Asia. 

The Faculty offers three bachelor's and three master's programs.

The Faculty of French Preparation in Electrical Engineering offers elite engineering education based on the French model in four master's programs in the specialties „Information and Communication Technologies" and "Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Automation".

The Faculty offers one bachelor's program in "Industrial Engineering" and four master's programs in "Industrial Engineering", "Business Informatics", "E-Governance", and "Information Technologies for Business Management".

The Engineering-Pedagogical Faculty in Sliven is a branch of the Technical University – Sofia, offering modern training in bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs, guaranteeing internationally recognized diplomas. A unique advantage of the faculty is the integrated pedagogical training, which allows graduates to acquire both the qualification of "engineer" (or "master-engineer") and a certificate as a "teacher." This dual profile opens up broad opportunities for career realization both in business, production, and administration, as well as in the educational sector.

 The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Instrumentation (FMEI) is one of the leading mechanical engineering faculties in the Republic of Bulgaria, with a modern material base and highly qualified faculty members. Thanks to this, the education is at a European level.
