The Faculty of Engineering Pedagogy (FEP) in Sliven is a branch of the Technical University – Sofia, offering modern training in bachelor, master, and doctoral programs, guaranteeing internationally recognized diplomas. A unique advantage of the faculty is the integrated pedagogical training, through which graduates acquire both the qualification of "engineer" (or "master engineer") and a certificate as a "teacher". This dual profile opens up wide opportunities for career realization both in business, production, and administration, as well as in the education sector. 

The FEP in Sliven was founded in 1986 and is a branch of the Technical University (TU) – Sofia. Students are trained at the faculty in bachelor, master, and doctoral programs. Graduates of the faculty receive a higher education diploma with the professional qualification of "engineer" or "master engineer", respectively, for the educational-qualificational degree of "bachelor" or "master". The diplomas issued with the stamp of TU – Sofia are a guarantee of competitiveness not only in the countries of the European Union, but also in many other countries outside the community. A distinctive feature of the Faculty of Engineering Pedagogy (FEP) is the mandatory parallel training of students from the bachelor programs in pedagogical preparation, as a result of which they also receive a certificate of professional qualification "teacher".

A privilege for students is the opportunity for any interested person (married or unmarried) to be accommodated in a student dormitory, whose building, together with the adjacent student canteen and the faculty buildings, forms a campus against the backdrop of the Stara Planina reserve "Sini Kamani".

Engineers and master engineers, trained by the teaching staff of FEP – Sliven, can apply their knowledge and skills in a number of areas of production, trade, state and municipal administration, as well as develop their own business, according to the acquired specialty. Thanks to the additional professional qualification "teacher", they can also realize themselves as teachers in vocational and general education high schools in the country.

 A special benefit for students is the opportunity for anyone who wishes (whether living with family or on their own) to be housed in a student dormitory, whose building—together with the adjacent student cafeteria and the faculty buildings—forms a single campus set against the backdrop of the “Sini Kamani” Stara Planina Nature Reserve.

Engineers and master’s degree holders in engineering, trained by the faculty of IPF – Sliven, can apply their knowledge and skills in a variety of fields in manufacturing, commerce, and state and municipal administration, as well as start their own businesses in line with their field of study. Thanks to the additional professional qualification as a “teacher,” they can also pursue careers as instructors in vocational and general high schools throughout the country.
