Computer engineers specializing in "Computer Technologies in Mechanical Engineering" are trained to:

design products and technologies using modern computer-aided design and manufacturing systems, as well as to manage and ensure production in companies with computer-controlled production equipment;
implement, maintain, and operate components, assemblies, machines, facilities, systems, and technologies in productions with a high degree of automation and computerization of production processes;
implement and operate computer hardware, specialized software, and engineering databases in units engaged in production, design, and consulting activities in the field of mechanical engineering;
lead and participate in national and international teams of specialists performing design, implementation, production, service, consulting, advertising, and commercial activities in the field of mechanical engineering, applying the latest achievements in computer and information technologies;
organize and conduct educational and teaching activities in the field of secondary education and in specialized training centers for disciplines related to mechanical engineering and the application of computer technologies in this area.

What are the admission requirements?

At the Faculty of Engineering and Pedagogy in Sliven, part of the Technical University of Sofia, applications are submitted with:

a state final exam in Bulgarian language and literature, and/or
a state final exam in mathematics, and/or
a state final exam in physics, and/or
a mathematics test (preliminary or regular).
