Department "Electrical Engineering, Automation and Information Technologies" (EEAIT) is a leading academic center responsible for the training in the specialties "Computer and Software Engineering", "Automation and Information Technologies", "Automation, Information and Control Engineering" and "Electrical Engineering"The Department was established in 1997 by merging the departments "Electronics and Automation" and Electrical Engineering to the Engineering-Pedagogical Faculty in Sliven, which lays the foundation for a strong interdisciplinary engineering-technological profile.

EAIT unites two key areas – "Electrical Engineering" and "Automation, Information and Control Engineering", offering a modern educational environment with 25 laboratories and specialized rooms for conducting laboratory, practical, and seminar sessions.
