The training in the specialty "Mechanical Engineering" is built on the basis of mandatory and elective disciplines. The mandatory ones are fundamental subjects such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer science, and engineering graphics. Important are also the humanities disciplines (economics, management, and marketing) and general engineering subjects such as materials science, mechanics, electrical engineering, electronics, automatic control and regulation, machine elements and mechanisms, safety and environmental protection techniques.
