Student Dormitories

Technical University – Sofia manages and operates 10 blocks, in total 15 entrances, student dormitories with a bed capacity of over 5000 places. The base is available to the students and doctoral students at TU - Sofia, full-time study, whose families no own own housing within the territory of the Capital Municipality.

Part of the dormitories is in close proximity to the academic buildings of TU - Sofia, while the rest are located in the Student City.

Our student dormitories have:

A large comfortable sleeping capacity, which can accommodate all those entitled to use student dormitories;
The necessary furnishings to fully meet housing needs;
A built-in cable network for internet and television in every room;
A system for controlled access and continuous video surveillance has been installed for your security and peace of mind;
Automatic control of room temperature during the winter months, depending on the ambient temperature;
A dedicated maintenance team that promptly addresses identified defects and emergencies.

The Student Campus of TU – Sofia is part of programs for renovating the building stock, as well as for renewing the furnishings in residential rooms.

For our applicants and their parents, we offer rooms for use during organized applicant courses, admission exams, and accommodation of first-year students.

First-year student accommodation

Technical University – Sofia manages and operates 2 student dining halls, which are visited by an average of 700 people per day. One of the halls is located at the Rectorate of the University, and the other – in bl. 59, entrance „V“ and offer a rich variety of delicious meat and vegetarian dishes. Their working hours are from Monday to Friday from 11:30 to 14:30 and from 16:00 to 20:00

Rent

The rent and utilities for student dormitories are paid monthly by the 25th of the current month at the cash desks of the "Student Dormitories and Canteens" Department, located near Hall 1152, Academic Building 1, Rectorate.

Dear students, after payment, it is mandatory to present the cash receipt to the dormitory manager in your dormitory.

Information on the due rent and utilities can be viewed in your profile in the "E-Student system, if you are a student at TU-Sofia, or in the system of the "Student Dormitories and Canteens" Department" , if you are an external contractor. At the same place, you can also pay them via a virtual POS terminal.

The working hours of the cash registers are from Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 16:00.

You can view information on the rent and utilities due in your profile in the "E-Student" system

External Tenants

You can view information on the rent and utilities due in the system of the "Student Dormitories and Canteens" Department. You can also pay them there using a virtual POS terminal.
