The curriculum is developed in accordance with modern trends in engineering education and is built on a harmonized modular structure that ensures flexibility and relevance of the training. It provides students with the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the latest scientific achievements, contemporary technologies, and promising directions in engineering. During their studies, they acquire knowledge and skills aligned with the dynamic development of engineering practice and the current needs of the labor market. The curriculum is developed based on best practices and experience from leading European universities.
The acquired knowledge and competencies find wide application in areas such as economics, operations research, production and operational management, human resources management, financial control, and the development of production strategies.

To study at the Technical University – Sofia, Bulgarian citizens and citizens of European Union and European Economic Area member states who hold a secondary education diploma are eligible to apply. 

Applications are submitted by providing the required documents and ranking by specialty. Only candidates who have successfully passed the competitive exams (tests) and/or the state maturity exams (maturities) in the subjects specified for the respective specialties are included in the ranking.

Specific application requirements: Candidates must present an internationally recognized certificate of English proficiency or take an English exam (test). A one-year preparatory course in English, mathematics, and physics is organized for those interested. 

40% of Bachelor's graduates in "Industrial Engineering" continue their studies in the Master's program, while 20% choose to study abroad – at Spanish, Swedish, German, and American universities, as well as in Denmark and the United Kingdom.
