The Master of Engineering in the specialty "Automotive Technical Expertise" performs expert actions related to modeling, analysis, research, and computational procedures in the event of severe road traffic accidents, as well as assumes personal responsibility for his activities.
The specialist is prepared for work in all areas requiring higher education in the specialty "Automotive Technical Expertise". Such specialization is found, for example, in specialized departments of insurance companies for expert investigation of road traffic accidents, expert houses with specialized focus in the investigation of road traffic accidents, transport departments, etc. He can realize his knowledge and skills both in the Republic of Bulgaria and abroad.
The training of the master is based on:
- comprehensive fundamental training in the field of technical sciences;
- general and specialized training that forms the professional qualification "engineer".
The profile training is implemented based on a choice made by the specialist from a group of elective disciplines.
Graduates of the specialty "Automotive Technical Expertise" will be able to:
- create complex dynamic models of collisions between participants in road traffic accidents;
- to organize and participate in the execution of specific tasks during the investigation of a traffic accident;
- to create mathematical models of collisions between participants in traffic accidents;
- to conduct experimental research and create analogous mathematical models;
- to lead and participate in the overall activities of expert teams composed of diverse specialists working in various fields of expert activity;
- to work as teachers in secondary schools.
