The University's recreation, entertainment, and sports base offers flexible options at preferential prices for year-round use by students, faculty, staff, their families, and friends.

Sports Complexes

The Department of Physical Education and Sports organizes activities in individual sports, team sports, and water and mountain sports—including aerobics, basketball, sailing, volleyball, rowing, rock climbing, track and field, folk dancing, mountaineering, skiing, swimming, sport climbing, tennis, and many other activities.

University Sports Complex

The organization and conduct of sports activities are carried out by the Department of Physical Education and Sports (DPES) in individual sports, team sports, and water and mountain sports, including aerobics, basketball, sailing, volleyball, rowing, rope climbing - speleology, athletics, folk dances, hiking and skiing, swimming, sport climbing, tennis, table tennis, fitness, football, and handball. A magnificent 50-meter swimming pool and an adjacent sauna are available, along with sports halls for football and fitness equipped with modern facilities, and tennis courts. The activities are conducted by qualified instructors with extensive experience.

Pancharevo Rowing Base

One of the modern sports facilities of the Technical University – Sofia,
the rowing base in Pancharevo is part of the University Sports Complex,
managed by the Department of Physical Education and Sports (DPES). The base
offers excellent conditions for practice in water sports – rowing and
sailing, and is part of the university's rich sports infrastructure,
which includes a 50-meter swimming pool with a sauna, sports halls for football and
a fitness center with modern equipment, and tennis courts. Classes are conducted by
qualified instructors with extensive experience, and access is on preferential
prices for students, faculty, staff, and their families.

University Sports Club

The Association aims to organize and develop sports within the academic community, to prepare athletes in various sports, and to participate in competitions from the state and international sports calendars of the federations. Members of the sports club can participate in all tournaments from the sports club's calendar.
