The main goal is to prepare specialists with higher education at the "master" educational and qualification level and with enhanced training in the field of management in the electrical energy sector, related to the needs of the labor market.

The sub-goals of the specialty are:

• Building on the knowledge and skills acquired at the "Bachelor" and/or "Master" educational and qualification levels in specialties from professional directions 3.5.
• "Public Communications and Information Sciences", 3.7. "Administration and Management", 3.8.
• "Economics" 4.1. "Physical Sciences" and 4.6. "Informatics and Computer Sciences", as well as for graduates of specialties from the field of higher education 5. "Technical Sciences" and 9. "Security and Defense".
• Creating the ability to make strategic decisions in a dynamic business environment in which the "Electrical Energy" sector develops;
• Acquiring the ability to manage the construction of operational electrical grids and systems, central stations and substations and systems for their management, as well as control over the implementation of strategic and tactical plans;
• Training personnel with communicative, analytical and entrepreneurial skills in various functional areas of management in the energy sector;
• Creating conditions for professional development.

Admission: According to the general requirements for admission of students at the Technical University – Sofia.

Graduates with a master's degree can apply and continue their studies at the doctoral level in the country or abroad in suitable scientific fields.
