The goal of training doctoral students in the doctoral program "INFORMATION-MEASURING SYSTEMS" in the Department of "Electrical Measuring Technology“ (EMT) is based on:
• improving the qualifications of the doctoral students being trained;
• preparing them as highly qualified specialists for the industry;
• forming them as highly qualified teachers for higher education institutions;
• developing them as competent, knowledgeable, and capable scientists;
Achieving these goals is possible through the successful resolution of the following Tasks:
• compliance with legal requirements in education;
• the education and counseling of doctoral students shall be carried out by habilitated teachers with a high level of professional and scientific qualification;
• continuous improvement and modernization of the material base in order to intensify the research process;
• application of information technologies for searching, accumulating, and processing information and data;
• maintaining a healthy connection, close interaction, and responding to the growing interest of companies in the manufacturing and service sectors in scientific and applied developments related to the objects of the specialty.
The main areas in which education is comprehensively developed are:
- Intelligent measuring transducers, intelligent measuring instruments;
- Information and measurement systems; distributed measurement systems; virtual measurement instruments; stochastic measurement systems;
- Application of microprocessors and microcomputers in the construction of information and measurement systems; software support for information and measurement systems;
