The Master's program "Graphic and Web Design" aims to provide knowledge, develop skills, and create habits in the process of developing software, including web products, that are professionally sound from both an engineering perspective and from the perspective of graphic and interactive design.Master's graduates receive in-depth training in the field of software engineering and the graphic and interactive design of software products. They acquire the ability to improve their knowledge and skills through self-study, develop good language culture, master computer technologies, and learn to maintain their preparation at the level of the modern requirements of the information society.Obtaining a Master's degree in graphic and web design requires knowledge and skills related to the creation of concepts, design, prototyping, testing, implementation, and technical support of complete software, including web-based applications.The specialty "Graphic and Web Design" prepares specialists with skills for organizing and visually presenting information, developing web solutions, and creating modern user interfaces. The training combines creative and technological competencies and builds the ability for continuous professional development in the field of digital design.

One of the main goals of the specialization is to establish a connection at the level of general knowledge between specialists - software engineers, programmers, graphic and web designers. The specialization is expected to prepare specialists with more in-depth knowledge and developed skills for working primarily with visual information. Visual information is regarded as material that is subject to processing, organization, and presentation in a form that is maximally suitable for the specific context and users. This approach ensures high quality of the produced software products.

For the master's specialization "Graphic and Web Design", applicants must have a grade from their bachelor's degree diploma of at least "Good". The program is tuition-based. Students are admitted through a document-based competition. The competition is conducted in descending order of the competitive score. Documents are accepted at the faculty office of the respective specialization, within one week prior to the start of the academic year. The maximum competitive score is 100 points and is calculated as follows: the average grade from the bachelor's degree diploma multiplied by 10; the grade from the bachelor's thesis multiplied by 2; the sum of grades in 3 subjects studied during the training program, which are the same for each specialization, as determined by the respective Faculty Council; for each specialization, up to 10 points may be awarded at the discretion of the Faculty Council for participation in a scientific conference, a published article, completion of a specific discipline or group of disciplines, completion of a specific university, etc.

Upon completion of the specialization, students will possess fundamental knowledge and understanding of the field of programming, web technologies, interface design, and software ergonomics. The specialized training enables students to master methods and techniques for visualizing their ideas and concepts, designing user experience, prototyping user interfaces, planning and conducting usability tests for the developed products.

Graduates with a master's degree in the specialty "Graphic and Web Design" acquire knowledge and practical skills for designing, developing, and implementing software and web applications using modern information and communication technologies. The training prepares them to work with specialized hardware and software for designing, prototyping, programming, testing, and deploying software products, as well as for organizing, managing, and coordinating projects and teams in the field of web development and digital design.
Graduates successfully establish themselves as programmers, graphic and web designers, UX/UI designers, user interface and human-computer interaction (HCI) designers, usability specialists, as well as project managers in the field of digital technologies.
