The Faculty of Electronic Engineering and Technologies (FEET) maintains multilateral links and partnerships with a number of foreign higher education institutions. The training at FEET is aligned with the latest achievements in the field of electronics and automotive electronics, as well as with the educational and research programs of leading European universities in England, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, and others.

Admission of students from the Faculty of Electronic Engineering and Technologies from the educational and qualification level of "bachelor" to the educational and qualification level of "master" is conducted through a document-based competition. Applicants must have a grade of at least "good". This grade is calculated as the average of the thesis defense grade and the overall academic performance. All students who have completed a "bachelor" degree at the Technical University of Sofia, majoring in "Electronics" or "Automotive Electronics", as well as bachelors who have completed the same major at other universities, are eligible to apply for state-funded positions. Ranking is performed in descending order of the competitive score. The competitive score is calculated using a point system, with a maximum of 100 points. The duration of the program is one year.

The specialization "Electronic Systems for Hybrid and Electric Vehicles" for the educational and qualification degree "Master" combines theoretical foundation and practical orientation in the formation of knowledge and skills in the trained students. The curriculum is prepared in accordance with regulatory requirements and aims to ensure labor market-appropriate quality of training for specialists in a dynamic and innovative field.
It is a fact that in recent years the electronics industry in Bulgaria has undergone significant development. At present, there are more than 50 companies in the "Automotive Electronics" sector, the majority of which are involved in the design, production, and maintenance of modules and systems for the automotive industry. Over the next few years, the demand for qualified engineering personnel in the "Automotive Electronics" profile is expected to increase by at least 50%.

The training in the specialization combines narrow specialization with an interdisciplinary approach. This ensures that students will acquire the full spectrum of knowledge and skills necessary for a successful career in the sector.
