The goal of the master's program is to provide in-depth training in fundamental disciplines, building upon the knowledge acquired in the "Bachelor" degree. To enhance the mobility of master's graduates, emphasis is placed on applied disciplines that impart knowledge, skills, and competencies aligned with the current level of development of CAD/CAM/CAE technologies and engineering. Graduates who successfully complete this program should:
• be familiar with the tools and technologies of 3D parametric and topological modeling, virtual engineering, process and product simulation, and engineering analysis;
• have detailed knowledge of manufacturing processes and related modern technologies, as well as methods for testing mechanical engineering materials;
• possess knowledge of the application of mathematical methods and models in processing large volumes of data;
• be familiar with various methods used in research and determining reliability indicators of products;
• have knowledge of specific technologies in the field of MEMS, as well as applications of 3D technologies in medicine;
• depending on the chosen disciplines: have knowledge and skills in simulation modeling of technological processes, investigation of dynamic processes and metrology methods, as well as those related to the use of information systems in industry.
Graduates of the specialization will be able to work:
• as engineers, designers, developers of modern industrial products, and as part of research teams in all areas of industry;
• in enterprises in the field of mechanical engineering production, engineering firms developing innovative products in the field of mechanical engineering;
• in the field of analysis, planning, and optimization of modern products;
• as process and service engineers;
• in companies engaged in prototyping and testing of new products;
• in companies using modern virtual technologies;
• in consulting companies and firms specializing in the implementation of digital technologies, CAD/CAM/CAE, PDM, PLM, ERP, discrete simulation, and internet-based systems in enterprises, as well as in state and corporate administration.
