Research University

The implementation of the project creates the necessary conditions for improving research capacity by attracting young and
talented researchers, enhancing the qualifications and specific expertise of established scientists, as well as improving the working environment.

The project is funded under the Operational Programme "National Recovery and Resilience Plan", investment "Programme for accelerating economic recovery and transformation through science and innovation", operation "Creating a network of research universities in Bulgaria".

The planned activities are focused on conducting scientific and applied research in these areas. Scientific groups have been formed, whose work on the project will lead to the further development of the existing expert and research capacity, will increase public trust in science and the public status of scientists and researchers.

Leading foreign scientists with high achievements and experience have been attracted to lead some of the scientific groups. It is planned that these groups will not only conduct high-quality scientific research but also become cores of intensified international cooperation, for the implementation of scientific, technological and cultural transfer in the strategic areas for TU - Sofia.
