QS World University Rankings 2027, which is an important step toward increasing the university’s international visibility and recognition. The ranking system is compiled by the authoritative British research firm Quacquarelli Symonds (QS). The 2027 edition, published in June 2026, covers 1,504 universities worldwide and evaluates indicators such as academic reputation, graduate employment, citation impact, and international integration.
The strongest areas for TU Sofia are related to the indicators International Research Network, Faculty-Student Ratio, Sustainability, and Employment Outcomes. The highest score was recorded for International Research Network, which demonstrates potential for international scientific collaboration and participation in partner research networks. Good performance was also recorded for the Faculty-Student Ratio, which reflects the ratio of faculty members to students. The Sustainability and Employment Outcomes indicators are also strong, demonstrating the connection between education, graduates’ career success, and the university’s societal impact.
