The Technical University – Sofia is leading in six professional fields, according to the university rating system in 2017 in the Republic of Bulgaria. This once again confirms that the Technical University is number one in technical higher education in the country. The fields are:
5.1 - Mechanical Engineering;
5.2 - Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Automation;
5.3 - Communication and Computer Engineering;
5.4 - Energy;
5.5 - Transport, Shipping and Aviation;
5.13 - General Engineering.
The newspaper “24 Chasa” organizes on Friday, January 12 from 16:30, in the ceremonial hall of the Central Military Club in Sofia, a ceremonial awarding of the top performers in the university rating system. The Rector of the Technical University – Sofia, Prof. Dr. Eng. Georgi Mihov will be awarded by the Minister of Education and Science Krassimir Valchev.
The European Commissioner for the Digital Society, Maria Gabriel, Deputy Prime Minister Krassimir Karakachanov, and Minister of Agriculture Rumen Porozhanov will also attend, and they will also present awards to the best Bulgarian universities for 2017. 30 universities will be awarded.
