Pride of the school are the six full distinction graduates and the remarkable average score of the graduating class – Excellent 5.53!
The students of the 2026 Graduating Class of the Technological College Electronic Systems (TCES) at TU – Sofia received their diplomas for completed secondary education. The 'Tech Arena' Hall of the Technical University – Sofia gathered graduates, academic leadership, faculty deans, parents, teachers, and friends. Among the official guests of the event were: the Deputy Rector for Academic Activities and Accreditation of TU – Sofia Prof. Milena Lazarova, the Dean of the Faculty of Electronic Engineering and Technologies Prof. Ivo Iliev, the Dean of the Faculty of Telecommunications Prof. Agata Manolova, the scientific supervisor of TCES Prof. Petar Yakimov, and the Chairman of the General Assembly of TU – Sofia Corr. Prof. Dr. Georgi Todorov.
"The 34th Graduating Class of TCES is one of the most successful in the 38-year history of the school," said Director Veselka Hristova. According to her, the years at school for the students were a time of hard work, diligence, self-assertion, successes, and shared joy. "We are convinced that the future is built here and now, and its authors are you. We believe in you, rely on you, and know that you are persistent, bold, and goal-oriented," she addressed the graduating students.
The Director of TCES thanked the leadership of TU – Sofia for the immense technical support provided to the school and stated that thanks to this synergy, the 2026 Graduating Class completed their studies with the remarkable average score of Excellent 5.53! Sixty students from the graduating class achieved a score above 5.50. Six graduates achieved an Excellent score of 6.00! With these results, the school solidifies its place among the top 20 best in Bulgaria.
In a welcome address on behalf of the Rectorate of TU – Sofia, Prof. Milena Lazarova invited the 2026 Graduating Class to continue their development at the Technical University – Sofia. She also congratulated the teachers and educators of TCES for the high results achieved by the students.
On behalf of the graduates, the valedictorian of the 2026 Graduating Class (with an Excellent score of 6.00) and recipient of numerous prestigious national awards, Dariy Topuzov, delivered a speech. The full distinction graduates received their diplomas from Prof. Lazarova. The other medalists of the graduating class are: Samuil Stoyanov, Aleksandar Shestakov, Mihail Georgiev, Deyan Slavkov, and Damian Myashkov.
