On June 7, 2024, the regular entrance examination in composition was held at the Technical University – Sofia. In the presence of the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering for educational activities and accreditation – Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eng. Georgi Stanchev, the Head of the Department of "Engineering Design" – Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eng. Boryana Georgieva, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eng. Sofia Angelova, Assistant Yoana Kyutinska, and the Head of the "Educational Department" – MSc Eng. Silviya Borislavova, the applicant Stefaniya Todorova from Vratsa drew Variant 4.
On June 8, 2024, the regular entrance examination in drawing was held. In the presence of the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering for educational activities and accreditation – Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eng. Georgi Stanchev, the Head of the Department of "Engineering Design" – Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eng. Boryana Georgieva, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eng. Trayan Stamov, Assistant Yoana Kyutinska, and the Head of the "Educational Department" – MSc Eng. Silviya Borislavova, the applicant Yoana Doncheva from Veliko Tarnovo drew Variant 1.
Applications for the specialty "Engineering Design" are submitted based on the grades in composition and drawing. This year, the number of applicants significantly exceeds that of previous years, which demonstrates the attractiveness of the specialty and the high reputation of the Technical University – Sofia as the leading higher technical institution in the country and the region.
On June 8, 2024, the regular entrance examinations in English, German, and French were also held at TU – Sofia, and only in English at the Plovdiv Branch. Successful completion of these examinations is required for admission to specialties taught in a foreign language.
The examination results will be published on the university website. Each applicant will be able to view their grade in the "Personal Information" section of "Admissions 2024".
On June 15, the regular entrance examination in mathematics will be held.
