
At the Technical University – Sofia, the regular monthly meeting of the European University of Technology (EUT+) was held. The event program included a general meeting of participants, discussions on topics related to the project work packages, and informal meetings. The event was held in a hybrid format – in-person and online – with representatives from the remaining seven universities:
- Cyprus University of Technology (Cyprus)
- Troyes University of Technology (France)
- Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences (Germany)
- Technological University Dublin (Ireland)
- Riga Technical University (Latvia)
- Technical University of Cluj-Napoca (Romania)
- Cartagena Polytechnic University (Spain)








The Technical University – Sofia is one of the eight founding members of the European University of Technology EUt+, a new type of confederate institution created with the vision "Think first for the person," fully oriented towards the person and the approach to modern technologies. In implementation of one of the leading EU initiatives for building a European educational space, EUt+ promotes European values, identity, and above all, the revolution in the quality and competitiveness of European higher education. The main mission of EUt+ is to contribute to the well-being of society, and its students to become technologically literate professionals and responsible European citizens. The development of a European vision for technology, which is of essential importance for the development of the European project, must become a reality for the students and staff of EUt+.
The key activities and results of EUt+ are:
- European bachelor's degrees and European dual programs, through promoting structured mobility;
- European master's degrees in engineering sciences, through promoting structured mobility;
- a common European laboratory (ECT+ Lab) on technology issues, their nature and function in society, and their connections with the arts, humanities, and social sciences;
- the EUt+ Foundation, which supports fundraising at both general and project levels;
- proficiency in at least one European language at the bachelor's level and at least two at the master's level.
Associated partners of EUt+ are non-governmental organizations, chambers of commerce and employer associations, business incubators and startups, student and alumni organizations, research centers, and companies.
