The new academic year 2021-2022 has begun at the Technical University – Sofia

Today, 27.09.2021, the new academic year 2021/2022 was opened at the Technical University – Sofia. In order to limit the spread of COVID-19, the opening was held with separate ceremonies by faculty, in compliance with the anti-epidemic measures prescribed by the Ministry of Health. By decision of the academic leadership of TU – Sofia, classes began in a hybrid format. As a rule, lectures are conducted in an electronic environment, but on-site attendance is also allowed in classrooms, at the discretion of the head of the main unit and provided that the number of attendees and the capacity of the room are in line with the restrictions imposed by health authorities. Laboratory, seminar exercises and other practical classes are conducted on-site in classrooms, in compliance with the current anti-epidemic measures, and under the same conditions, exams and diploma defenses will also be conducted on-site.
