
158 bachelor and master graduates from FTK and over 70 from the Faculty of Automation received their diplomas at 'Tech Arena'.


At the official ceremony of FA, the Rector of TU-Sofia, Prof. Georgi Venkov, addressed the graduates, stating that the diploma they are receiving will play the most significant role in their development and realization, as it is recognized by the industry. He invited them to continue their education at the Technical University – Sofia, saying that the doors of the Faculty and the university are open to them.

The Dean of FA, Assoc. Prof. Tsonyo Slavov, said that the Faculty is known in business circles for its broad-profile education, and its alumni are among the most sought-after by the industry. Therefore, almost 100% of the graduates successfully realize themselves in Bulgaria or abroad. Assoc. Prof. Slavov wished the graduated engineers to be a bridge between the higher education institution and the business. With them, the number of faculty alumni over the years has exceeded 8,200.

The top students – bachelors Dimitar Zhelev, Velislav Hristov, Ivaylo Georgiev, Denis Mustafov, Boncho Yanev, and masters – Dimitar Ivanov, Nikolay Angelov, Ivan Shopov, Tony Lyubenov – received gold medals.


Representatives of partner companies of the Faculty – A1 Bulgaria, Vivacom, IBM Bulgaria, Huawei Bulgaria, Yettel.Bulgaria, CETIN Bulgaria – were also present at the official ceremony of the Faculty of Telecommunications. They also congratulated the graduates and awarded the top students of the graduating class.

Gold medals were received by Polya Georgieva and Stanimir Vrashilov.


The Dean of the Faculty, Assoc. Prof. Agata Manolova, congratulated the graduated telecommunications engineers on becoming part of the large telecommunications family that connects the whole world from today. She wished them to be able to cope with all the challenges that lie ahead. And the Vice-Rector, Assoc. Prof. Rosen Radonov, wished them to relentlessly pursue their dreams.
