The Strategic Cooperation Agreement between the Technical University – Sofia and the French company Arabelle Solutions was signed during the 25th International Nuclear Conference "Bulgarian Nuclear Energy – National, Regional and Global Energy Security", organized by the Bulgarian Atomic Forum (BULATOM) by the Rector of TU-Sofia Prof. Georgi Venkov and the Executive Director of the company Catherine Cornand.
The partnership is focused on improving the educational process at the university in the field of steam turbines for nuclear power plants. The world leader in the production of nuclear steam turbines will support Bulgarian education through specialized training seminars for students and teachers, internship programs in the company's international research and production structures, and direct exchange of knowledge and practical experience between academia and business.
The traditional BULATOM conference annually ensures the participation of students from the bachelor's specialization "Thermal Energy and Nuclear Energy" and the master's "Nuclear Energy", studied at TU-Sofia. The forum brings together state regulators, politicians, energy company managers, industrial partners, and scientists. This event provides a unique opportunity for young talents to build direct contacts with industry leaders. The results of these meetings are clear – statistics show that 100% of graduates from these specializations successfully find employment in Bulgarian and international companies in the nuclear sector.
