The Technical University – Sofia will Band also expects this year for the beginning of the European Researchers' Night – SEARCH 2022 on September 30, 2022, from 15:00 to 21:00 in Prof. Tsvetan Lazarov Hall, Block 8, where a special studio will be set up to present live and online the most interesting projects of the university, specially prepared for the Night.
The focus of this year's SEARCH events is the topic of glass, the most universal material in human history with a significant role in society for technological, scientific, and economic progress, as well as climate change and the urgent and important choices humanity must make. The emphasis is in the context of the International Year of Glass 2022, declared by the UN, and global and European programs and priorities.
The "European Researchers' Night – SEARCH" 2022 initiative is an innovative project funded by the European Commission under the Horizon 2022 programme. This year, the Bulgarian initiative of the European Researchers' Night – SEARCH 2022 involves 15 main and 16 associated partners from across the country, with a special programme in more than 25 settlements, which will last for several months. The programme includes exciting activities in schools, competitions, meetings with scientists in research institutes and universities, as well as events in public urban spaces. SEARCH is an acronym from the English language and stands for our key messages – Science + Environment + Art = Resilience.
The European Researchers' Night will be held live and online, with the program broadcast on the project's social media platforms – https://www.facebook.com/ResearchersBG
and on the YouTube channel – European Researchers' Night – SEARCH, as well as on the social media profiles of all partners in the initiative. The Technical University – Sofia will broadcast online from a specially created studio dedicated to the European Researchers' Night.
