At an official ceremony, the Rector of the Technical University of Sofia, Prof. Georgi Venkov, and the Executive Director of "Huawei Technologies Bulgaria" Li Zemin signed the document for future initiatives and mutual benefits in the field of education, organizing specialized internships, as well as the opportunity for students to join the company's scholarship programs. Chris Shu, Director of the "Public Initiatives" Department, also attended the event.
Driven by the common goal of encouraging the development of young talents, the company and the university will make efforts to support the professional training and career realization of future personnel in the Information and Communication Technologies sector, as well as to provide opportunities for additional training and practical workshops for students.
As part of the partnership, Huawei specialists attended lectures by third- and fourth-year students from the "Telecommunications" Department. The experts presented useful information to future engineers about the main professions and career development opportunities within the company.
