The Head of the Academic Department at TU - Sofia, Sylvia Borislavova, and other department staff presented to the Vidin graduates, their parents, and many young people the advantages of becoming students at the most prestigious technical university in Bulgaria and the region.
The Mayor of Vidin Municipality, Dr. Tsvetan Tsenkov, visited the TU - Sofia pavilion and stated that the latest edition of the "Panorama of Higher Education" demonstrates that this is a successful and beneficial initiative playing an important role in helping those who wish to continue their education. He emphasized that for several years now, Vidin has become a university town. He wished all representatives of higher education institutions to admit a large number of students, and wished the students graduating from secondary school successfully to enroll in their most desired major.
Hundreds of young people stopped by the stand of the Technical University – Sofia. They talked and inquired about the newest majors – „"Intelligent Systems and Artificial Intelligence", "Automotive Electronics", "Electronic Information Systems", "Cybersecurity", and many others offered at the Technical University - Sofia.
Future students had the opportunity to get informed on site about the proposed curricula, master's programs, and the dormitories offered by the university, thereby making the right choice regarding which faculty and major to select and what their professional development will be.
The event is organized for the fourth consecutive year jointly by Vidin Municipality and the Center for Personal Development Support, whose activity is career guidance and counseling. The event was opened by the Director of the Center, Sylvia Stareva, and a greeting was also delivered by Veselka Asenova, Head of the Regional Inspectorate of Education.
