The Technical University – Sofia is a strategic partner and host of the Spinoff EUROPA Conference 2026

In the "Tech Arena" hall of the Technical University – Sofia, under the motto "Building Europe’s Innovation Powerhouse", the fifth edition of the conference Spinoff EUROPA 2026, part of the initiative Spinoff Initiative, launched in 2022.

The conference brings together nearly 400 participants from across Europe, including scientists, representatives of spin-off companies, investors, representatives of the European Commission, universities, industry, clusters, European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs), technology centers, and institutions engaged in the development and implementation of policies in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship.

The first day of the conference is dedicated to building a European innovation valley for personalized medicine and digital health.

Special emphasis was placed on the European Health Data Space (EHDS) through the VALES project, AI-based solutions in healthcare, biotechnology, and new regulatory frameworks shaping the future of the health sector in Europe.

The second day of the conference focuses on technological independence and digital resilience in Europe. The program includes key topics related to the development of high-tech industries, strategic innovations, and strengthening European competitiveness.
