168 bachelor and master graduates from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Technical University – Sofia, class of 2025, received their diplomas at an official ceremony in the "Tech Arena" hall.
On behalf of the rectorate leadership, Vice Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eng. Rosen Radonov wished them successful career realization. The Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Prof. Dr. Eng. Stiliyan Nikolov, addressed the graduates with words stating that this diploma is a testament to their hard work and efforts over the years at the university and, thanks to the rating of TU – Sofia, will open many doors for them. However, he warned them that they are welcomed by their diploma but sent off by their knowledge – he is, however, convinced that the faculty has provided them with sufficient knowledge to meet future challenges.
The Dean of the faculty urged the new engineers: Do not forget where you started, do not give up on your dreams, do not surrender in the face of difficulties!
Iliya Darakchiev, a graduate of the FME and Chairman of the Student Council of TU – Sofia, extended greetings to his colleagues. After that, the graduates took the Galilean oath.
The class of 2025 of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering graduated with distinction. Gold medals for outstanding achievement were awarded to Svetoslav Ivanov, Raya Dimitrova, Iliana Krasteva, Kristina Shindarska, Daniel Atanasov, Teodor Kunchev, Andrea Georgieva, Gergana Pavlova, Iliya Darakchiev, Alexandra Tasheva, Ioannis Arabadgis, and Harith Alomari. Many silver medals and certificates of distinction for outstanding achievement from the FME were also presented at the ceremony.
