Students from three bachelor's programs at TU-Sofia, admitted under state order in the first year of the 2020-2021 academic year, are exempt from paying tuition fees.

In accordance with Council of Ministers Decree No. 137 of 25.06.2020 on the adoption of the List of Professional Fields and Protected Specializations, students admitted under state order in the first year of the 2020/2021 academic year in the bachelor's specializations "Thermal Energy and Nuclear Energy", "Thermal and Refrigeration Technologies and Systems", and "Applied Mathematics and Informatics" are exempt from paying tuition fees for the entire duration of their studies at the Technical University – Sofia.
