Student of the Year

At the tenth official ceremony (December 16, 2016), The National Representation of Student Councils honored the most outstanding students in Bulgaria. The special prize "Student of the Year" in the field of Natural Sciences, Mathematics, and Informatics was won by fourth-year student Evgeni Sabev, majoring in Computer and Software Engineering, at the Faculty of Computer Systems and Technologies.

During the past year, Evgeni achieved excellent results in his studies, participated in the Challenge "NASA International Space Apps Challenge 2015 and 2016," and as part of the "Valkyrie" team, won first place worldwide in the category "Best Use of Hardware." He is currently working hard on developing the idea of creating a society focused on cybersecurity in Bulgaria.
