PART OF THE CAMPAIGN “IF YOU HAVE GIVEN, YOU HAVE NOT LIVED IN VAIN...”
On the occasion of The National Holiday of the Republic of Bulgaria - March 3, Eng. Vasil VELEV, an alumnus of the Technical University - Sofia, provides the scholarship "I study at TU-Sofia to realize myself in Bulgaria". The scholarship is part of the campaign "If you have given, you have not lived in vain..." and is intended to support student education.
The scholarship is annual and amounts to 5000 BGN. (five thousand leva) for a student from mechanical engineering majorpart-time study, 3rd year, bachelor's degree at the Technical University - Sofia.
The application for the scholarship "I study at TU-Sofia to realize myself in Bulgaria" is carried out by: submitting an application from the student, accompanied by motivating statement (to the student). The success, development, achievements, and attitude of the student towards the educational process at the University will be taken into account, as well as his future plans for implementation in the field in which he has chosen to develop.
The application must also be accompanied by an official note on the average grade from previous years, which must be minimum 5.00. It is recommended to also provide copies of documents(certificates) confirming participation in olympiads, competitions, training, scientific conferences, developed projects, national programs, cultural and sports events, and other academic and extracurricular activities.
Every student who wishes to realize themselves in the field in which they are studying, during and after completing their education, will have a binding opportunity within five years to be part of a team at a company of their choice and mandatory operating within the territory of Republic of Bulgaria.
The selection of scholarship recipients will be carried out based on documents and interview.
Application documents:
1. Completed application form (can be downloaded from HERE).
2. Official note from the University with information on the overall average grade, issued by the faculty office;
3. Motivated statement of up to 1 (one) page, containing the following information:
- a brief description of education, experience, interests, and extracurricular activities;
- motivationthe ranking for training and development in the field in which they have chosen to study and why they wish to establish themselves in Bulgaria.
4. Copies of certificates from training, diplomas from competitions/olympiads, and others.
Documents are accepted at the Center “Career and Alumni” at Technical University - Sofia, Block 12, Office No. 12122.
Application deadline: from 05.03.2019 to 24.05.2019.
