Rector's Scholarship of the Technical University - Sofia
(the scholarship is awarded in connection with the student holiday - December 8 and is a one-time payment for one student)
Students enrolled in full-time study programs in specialties from all professional directions of TU-Sofia (including Branch Plovdiv, „Faculty and College“ -Sliven, KEE).
The purpose of the scholarship is to support student education and assist in the realization of future career goals.
The scholarship amount is 1000.00 leva.
Application for the scholarship is submitted by submitting an application (Appendix 1) by the student, accompanied by a reasoned opinion(of the student) and a justified proposal(from the dean/head of department of the faculty, scientific supervisor or lecturer). The student's academic performance, development, achievements, and attitude towards the educational process at the university, as well as their future plans for implementation in the field they have chosen to develop in, will be taken into account.
The application must also be accompanied by an official note on the overall average grade from previous years, which must be equal to or higher than excellent 5.50.
Copies of the following documents are also provided:
-certificate of proficiency in a foreign language, minimum level B2;
-documents confirming participation in olympiads, competitions, training, scientific conferences, developed projects, national programs, cultural and sports events, and other academic and extracurricular activities.
The selection of scholarship recipients will be carried out in two stages: by documents and interview.
Application period: from 08.12.2017 to 15.03.2018.
Documents are accepted at Center "Career and Alumni" (Alumni)“ at TU-Sofia, Hall 12113, Building 12.
*First-year students pursuing a bachelor's degree can apply for the scholarship from the second semester of their studies.
