On 02.11.2016, project BG16RFOP001-3.003-0012-С01 "Improving the quality of the educational environment at TU Sofia for the leading priority professional areas 5.3 "Communications and Computer Engineering" and 5.13 "General Engineering" through the comprehensive renovation of Block 3 and Block 1" was launched.
The project is implemented under Procedure BG16RFOP001-3.003 "Support for higher education institutions in the Republic of Bulgaria", with the financial support of the Operational Programme "Regions in Growth" 2014-2020, co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund.
The total value of the project is 3,500,000 BGN, of which 2,975,000 BGN is European and 525,000 BGN is national co-financing. The project duration is 24 months.
This is the second large-scale project for modernizing the educational infrastructure of the Technical University - Sofia, which is being implemented with the financial support of the OPRR.
On 20.12.2016 at 14:00 in the hall of the Academic Council of the Technical University of Sofia, a press conference will be held, which is the first public event for presenting the project.
