
On December 6, the academic leadership of the Technical University – Sofia and the management of the Faculty of French Training in Electrical Engineering (FFOE) officially opened a newly equipped high-tech software laboratory, ProxiHub, for the needs of the faculty, which was equipped as part of a partnership agreement between FFOE and Proxiad AD. The educational laboratory is the latest visible result of the French Faculty's policy to work in close cooperation with leading companies in the IT sector.
As part of this initiative, following the opening of the ProxiHub laboratory, the student Maria Gaydova was awarded a newly established scholarship at the faculty, fully funded by the business sector.

Attending were Prof. Dr. Eng. Georgi Mihov – Rector of TU-Sofia, H.E. the Ambassador of the French Republic in Bulgaria – Eric Lebeudel, the Chairman of the Bulgaria-France Friendship Group of the 43rd National Assembly – Dragomir Stoynev, Deputy Minister of Economy – Lyuben Petrov, the Executive Director of Proxiad AD – Alexander Yovchev, and others.
