In connection with the 200th anniversary of the birth of Werner von Siemens (1816-1892), Siemens Bulgaria, in collaboration with the National Polytechnic Museum, is organizing a mobile exhibition presenting the life, achievements, and legacy of the inventor, entrepreneur, and founder of Siemens AG.
Werner von Siemens' inventions are at the core of many modern technologies in the fields of electrical engineering, energy, communications, and transport. The exhibition, titled 'Return to the Future', aims to demonstrate the inseparable link between innovation and pioneering spirit, which have determined the rapid rise of Siemens and its current achievements and philosophy.
From November 8 to December 8, 2016, an exhibition featuring posters with unique black-and-white photographs from Siemens archives, most of which have not been shown in Bulgaria before, will be displayed in the foyer of Academic Building 12. Through a kind of photographic 'time machine', they present the development of technologies from the mid-19th century to the present day, reinforcing the connection between the past and the future.
You are welcome!
