On January 24, 2023, a seminar on the topic "Theory and practice in aerosol measurements" will be held at the "National Center for Mechatronics and Clean Technologies", campus "Student City of the Technical University – Sofia", organized with the kind support of the National Scientific Program "Environmental Protection and Reduction of the Risk of Adverse Events and Natural Disasters", approved by Council of Ministers Decision No. 577/17.08.2018 and funded by the Ministry of Education and Science (Agreement No. D01-271/09.12.2022 https://nnpos.wordpress.com/).
The seminar is primarily aimed at young researchers and specialists interested in aerosol measurement, both at the source and in the composition of atmospheric air or indoor working environments (enclosed spaces). In-depth study of the problem requires modern research equipment that allows reliable measurement/modeling of aerosols and determination of their physical and chemical characteristics. Additionally, reliable study of the processes leading to their formation at the respective source and, not least, their dispersion in the environment and impact on living organisms is necessary.
Participation is planned both on-site and remotely for scientists from Bulgarian and foreign research institutions from Germany, Austria, Italy, etc.
