On 09.01.2026, the Advisory Board to the Dean of the Faculty of Economics at the Technical University – Sofia was officially established. During the founding meeting, the structure of the Board, the various forms of partnership between business and education, as well as the work program for 2026 were approved.
The approved structure provides for the functioning of a Supervisory Board and a Management Board. The Supervisory Board consists of the co-founders: Prof. Dr. Eng. Yordanka Angelova – Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Ms. Gena Subeva – representative of the "Council for Entrepreneurship and Startups" at the Bulgarian Association of Employers and Industrialists (BAEI), as well as Ms. Viktoria Karaabova-Stoyanova – representative of the Foundation "For Good Examples in Business".
The Management Board consists of representatives from the following companies: NEK EAD, Festo Bulgaria EOOD, BG Serviz OOD, Sonis Energy Bulgaria OOD, and Ataplast OOD. Prof. Dr. Eng. Yordanka Angelova emphasized that the companies included in the Management Board will perform the role of a representative body of the Advisory Board in the implementation of various significant initiatives and events. A one-year program for the activities of the Advisory Board was also developed and approved.
