By secret ballot, the participants in the General Reporting and Election Assembly of the Technical University – Sofia elected Prof. Dr. Eng. Ivan Králov as rector for a second term. Prof. Králov presented a report on the work accomplished and his mandate program for the next four-year period, in which he highlighted the priorities for the development of the university. Foreign language education, recognition of the European and world level of education at the Technical University – Sofia, active interaction and development of technologies and programs within the family of the European University of Technology, attracting young teachers and researchers, close and beneficial ties with business. These will be the priorities in the program of his new four-year mandate, with a vision for the long-term establishment of the Technical University – Sofia as the most prestigious, promising, and competitive higher education institution in Bulgaria.
During the General Reporting and Election Assembly, the chairman and deputy chairman of the General Assembly of TU – Sofia were also elected, as well as two members of the Control Council.
