In connection with the celebration of the 70th anniversary of TU-Sofia and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and the 45th anniversary of the Department of "Automation of Discrete Production" a stand of an automated complex for automatic assembly has been designed, developed, and manufactured by students majoring in "Mechatronic Systems", Master's degree from the Department of "ADP".
The stand is a symbiosis between the company "FESTO", which donated an industrial robot, and the Department of "ADP", with the additional automated devices created by the aforementioned students, as well as the control of the automated complex. The idea for creating this stand arose on the occasion of the University's Jubilee.
