On a two-day working meeting (13.06.2023 and 14.06.2023) at FOM University of Economics and Management, Essen, were Prof. Dr. Eng. Ivan Králov – Rector of Technical University – Sofia, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eng. Lidia Galabova – Deputy Rector for Scientific and Applied Activities of Technical University – Sofia, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eng. Vasil Galabov – Dean of the Faculty of German Engineering Education and Industrial Management (FAGIOPM), Prof. Dr. Jur. Eng. Stefan Stefanov – Chairman of the Commission for Intellectual Property and Advisor to the Rector of TU – Sofia, Prof. Dr. Eng. Marin Marinov – Director of the Doctoral School at FAGIOPM and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of TU – Sofia.
During the working meeting, discussions were held on issues related to education, science, environmental protection, and sustainable development. The main topic of the conversation was the possibilities for joint scientific projects and doctoral studies. A meeting was also held with Mayor Mrs. Yuliya Yakob. Modern online learning studios and the university's Digital Campus were also presented.
The Faculty of German Engineering Education and Industrial Management (FAGIOPM) of Technical University – Sofia and FOM University of Economics and Management, Essen have been successfully cooperating for 25 years. The partnership is based on a project funded by the German Academic Exchange Service, which provides students with the opportunity to obtain dual master's degrees in Business Administration.
