By invitation of the Faculty of Economics, on March 6, 2024, Mr. Radan Kanev, Member of the European Parliament, met with students from the Technical University – Sofia and delivered a lecture on the topic of "Green Policies." The guest acquainted the audience in detail with the European Union's policy in the field of the green transition and its impact on the development of the economy and society in our country. Following the highly interesting presentation, Mr. Radan Kanev thoroughly answered a number of questions posed by the students.
The Rector of TU – Sofia, Prof. Dr. Eng. Ivan Králov, the Chairman of the General Assembly of TU – Sofia and Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Technologies, Prof. Dr. Eng. Georgi Todorov, and the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Prof. Dr. Eng. Yordanka Angelova, acquainted Mr. Radan Kanev with the activities of the National Centre for Mechatronics and Clean Technologies and showed him the 16 laboratories located there. The guest was highly impressed by the modern equipment, the achieved successes, and the ambitious plans for research and development activities.
