The ceremonial Alumni meeting (4.12., Panorama restaurant) between successful graduates of the Technical University and the rectorate leadership fulfilled its goal – exchanging ideas with representatives of business, politicians, and public figures for future active cooperation with the university leadership and the student community.
The meeting was organized by the Alumni Center of TU – Sofia (Alumni) and was opened by the Deputy Chairman of the Alumni Center, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yordanka Angelova, who thanked the guests for their attendance and noted that the first-of-its-kind Alumni meeting was dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the higher education institution.
In his welcome address to the participants, Rector Prof. Dr. Eng. Georgi Mihov defined Alumni as "an organization that is called to strengthen the ties between our technical Alma Mater and all its graduates".
Rector Prof. Mihov presented certificates of appreciation to the sponsors of the meeting.
