
The Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Informatics offers the following master's programs:
"Analysis of Large Data Arrays and Streams"
This program focuses on training related to the development of software for big data analysis in social networks, big data ecosystem security, digital big data, and computer forensics and intelligent systems for personalized medicine. Specialized disciplines are related to the most modern areas of software science and informatics (cloud platforms and services, big data analysis, knowledge extraction, decision-making).
"Informatics and Software Sciences"
The master's program "Informatics and Software Sciences" was created to meet the growing needs of society in Bulgaria and worldwide for highly qualified specialists in the field of information technology. It provides training with opportunities for implementation in a wide range of activities: creation and development of software products for effective management in administration, banking and insurance institutions, education, healthcare, and economy.
"Applied Mathematics and Informatics"
This program provides qualification in applied mathematics with opportunities for implementation in a wide range of activities. During the training process, knowledge and skills in modern information technologies are acquired, skills for analyzing and building mathematical models are developed, for assessing their adequacy, and for applying modern information technologies in solving applied tasks for industrial, technical, and economic processes.
"Pedagogy of Teaching Mathematics, Physics, and Informatics"
A unique program with a triple formula, preparing teachers with a higher educational-qualificational degree, with a pronounced interest in the respective science and modern technologies, to meet the need for teachers in specialized high schools. The training process includes a number of innovative teaching methods such as: interactive lessons, virtual reality technologies, project-based learning, cloud computing training, gamification, and others.
