From February 20, 2020 applications are accepted for taking preliminary tests in mathematics, preliminary exams in foreign languages, drawing, and composition. Applications are accepted at the Technical University – Sofia, Academic Department, online, and at regional centers and offices for document acceptance. The deadline for submission is two days before the exam date.
The Technical University – Sofia is the largest and leading higher education institution for engineering education in the country and in recent years has enjoyed growing interest from young people. According to the Rating System of Bulgarian universities, for another year, the Technical University – Sofia ranks first in six of the most prestigious professional fields: "Mechanical Engineering", "Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Automation", "Communications and Computer Engineering", "Energy", "Transport, Shipping and Aviation", and "General Engineering".
Applicants can choose from 31 bachelor's specializations, one of which is new - "Automotive Electronics".
The first preliminary test in mathematics will be held on 28.03.2020 at the Technical University – Sofia, the Plovdiv branch, and the Engineering-Pedagogical Faculty – Sliven.
Regular applicant exams are at the end of June.
