
The conditions and procedures for receiving financial support under the Head of State's initiative "Support a Dream" for 2015 have been established.
During the implementation of the "Support a Dream" initiative in 2015, which included the traditional graduation ball for disadvantaged children, a total of 60,900 BGN was collected through donations.
On May 27, 2015, in his address to the graduates for the fourth consecutive year, President Rosen Plevneliev announced that the unspent financial resources for the graduation event would be used to provide one-time support to disadvantaged young people to continue their education after completing secondary school. The amount to be used for one-time financial assistance amounts to 49,613.34 BGN.
According to the Rules for receiving financial assistance from the "Support a Dream" initiative for 2015, each approved applicant can receive one-time support of up to 2,000 BGN. Application documents for financial support must be submitted by October 20, 2015, to the Presidential Administration.
Applicants are also required to submit a certificate from the "Social Assistance" Directorate confirming that they meet the conditions for assistance under Article 9 of the Regulation for the Implementation of the Social Assistance Act, or a copy of a document certifying permanently reduced working capacity (the sample certificate can be downloaded from HERE ).
With these rules, the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Bulgaria regulates the conditions and procedures for receiving one-time financial support within the framework of the "Support a Dream" initiative for 2015 (the financial assistance rules can be downloaded from HERE ).
