On November 16th and 17th, 2022, a visit took place by representatives of the European and world research and development center IMEC – Belegy. The Vice President of IMEC, Jo De Bok, and the Head of Government Relations, Christophe Lux, met with the Rector of the Technical University of Sofia, Prof. Dr. Eng. Ivan Králov, visited the laboratories of the National Center for Mechatronics and Clean Technologies and the laboratory complex at Sofia Tech Park. The two guests also held discussions with the Minister of Innovations and Growth, Mr. Aleksandar Pulev. The guests were introduced to the progress in scientific research and educational activities, as well as business developments in the fields of microelectronics, mechatronics, artificial intelligence, and their applications. As a result of the meetings held, agreement was reached for cooperation in the listed areas, which will be specified in the coming months at the technical and expert level.
