PUBLIC INVITATION
for the recruitment of associated partners in a project proposal Competence Centre in the thematic area of Informatics and ICT
Technical University - Sofia is preparing a project proposal for a Competence Centre in the thematic area of Informatics and ICT in connection with the Operational Programme "Science and Education for Intelligent Growth" 2014-2020, procedure BG05M2OP001-1.002 Creation and development of competence centres, Priority Axis 1 "Scientific research and technological development", Investment priority: No. 1a. Strengthening the infrastructure necessary for scientific research and innovation activities, improving the capacity to implement achievements in the field of scientific research and innovation activities and promoting competence centres, in particular centres that are of interest to Europe, Specific Objective 1: "Development of world-class and market-oriented scientific research". The procedure is implemented with the financial support of the European Regional Development Fund.
The objective of the procedure is to support:
- Increasing investments in RDI and innovations
- Market orientation of scientific research, with the aim of increasing innovation capacity
- Investments in modern scientific research infrastructure and equipment.
The expected results from the funding under this procedure are related to creating conditions for:
- links and interactions between research and development centers, higher education institutions, and enterprises;
- investments by enterprises in research and development activities;
- building networks and clusters.
Candidates for associated partners may include institutions such as research institutes, universities, business organizations, enterprises, innovation clusters, science and technology parks, municipalities, agencies, etc.
