On 06.04.2023, at the initiative of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of the Technical University - Sofia, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed with the energy company EVN ER JUG. From the side of TU-Sofia, Prof. Dr. Eng. Ivan Králov – Rector of the Technical University – Sofia, Prof. Dr. Eng. Ognyan Andreev – Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Prof. Dr. Eng. Yordanka Angelova – Head of the Department of "Economics, Industrial Engineering and Management", and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eng. Natalia Koleva – Deputy Dean were present. Representatives of EVN ER JUG were Eng. Zdravko Bratoev – Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors and Eng. Stoycho Valchev – Executive Member of the Board of Directors. In their speeches, both sides united around the idea of future joint initiatives to support educational, scientific, and industrial activities, such as: providing better opportunities for career development and realization of students through visits to ER JUG, meetings with practitioners, organization of educational and pre-diploma internships and practices, job fairs, supporting the quality of education for students and doctoral students through case and project discussions. Another raised topic was partnership in conducting research and scientific studies in the field of Electrical Engineering, Energy Services and Markets, Energy Management. The issue of continuing joint cooperation in training personnel from EVN ER JUG in specialties offered by the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, "Management in Electrical Engineering", "Energy Management and Leadership", etc., was also raised.
Outside the activities set out in the Memorandum, specific steps for future cooperation were also outlined at the meeting.
