Students from 4 European universities of the EUt+ Alliance and teachers from 5 countries participated in the initiative, funded by the Erasmus+ program. After months of online training, the final stage took place in Sozopol within the framework of the 6th International Youth Conference.

The initiative of the Technical University – Sofia is the next stage in the already traditional student innovation hub - additional entrepreneurship training for engineers, which will facilitate students in the process of turning their innovative ideas and projects into working entrepreneurial enterprises. For the first time, TU - Sofia offers a mentoring program and training for starting a business, with world experts in this field attracted to assist the students.

12 teams participated in the final challenge with presentations. The winners are the students from the Technical University – Sofia with their project Solar Blinds, which this month gathered several prestigious awards.

The teams also competed on the sports field. At the beach in Sozopol, future engineers and entrepreneurs demonstrated skills in football, basketball, volleyball, and tennis. They were also able to see a small part of our historical and cultural heritage – in Plovdiv and Sozopol.

This is the first in a series of international initiatives and entrepreneurship training within the European Technological University alliance. With care for students and their future realization, TU-Sofia will actively participate in organizing many more summer and winter schools on entrepreneurship, short courses, and BIP programs.
