The Bulgarian team "Neutrino", consisting of the master's students from FET: Hristo Petranov, Ivan Ucherdiev, Filip Alendarov, and Nikolai Vasilev, with supervisor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eltimir Stoimenov, won the prestigious 7th place in the First European Renesas MCU Automotive Rally, dedicated to the Year of Light. It took place on February 26, 2024, in Nuremberg, Germany, as a qualifying round of the World Championship. The competition involved 17 teams and nearly 100 students from 20 universities. Along with good communication and teamwork, the students had to demonstrate knowledge and skills in electrical circuits and electronic control systems, as well as the development and tuning of software for engine drive and control.
